AWFS
The Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers supports WCA’s efforts in targeting educators to receive Skill Evaluator training, which ensures that today’s woodworking students are acquiring skills that align with tomorrow’s industry needs. We do this by subsidizing training costs for educators where possible, offering the training at the AWFS Fair and helping to increase awareness through our teacher networks.

U.S. Forest Service
Our story quite possibly would not be told without some forward thinking by members of this department. The Forest Service provided initial funding for us via some 1:1 matching grants. For every dollar of federal support we raised a dollar of private support from many of the other partners you see on this page.

Architectural Woodwork Institute
The next torch bearer, Greg Heuer, Chief Learning Officer with AWI enthusiastically cooperated with the forest service to gel our mission and move us forward. AWI provided financial, philosophical, and in-kind support from the beginning. The leadership of AWI has been faithful to the vision and mission of the programs.
