Accredited Skill Evaluator – Application Process

If you have an interest in becoming an Accredited Skill Evaluator (ASE), simply follow the four step process outlined below:

  • Enroll

    If you don’t already have one, purchase an Individual Membership for $55 to enroll in WCA.

    Note: Do not purchase the Skill Standards book or the Evaluator Handbook, they will be part of your training package.

  • Apply

    Apply for Skill Evaluator accreditation using the online application form.  The application fee is included in the Individual Membership purchase.

  • Online Training

    Evaluator candidates are required to take the free online training course before attending the hands on training session.  You must be logged into this website to complete the course and quiz.  Click the My Account link at the top right of the menu bar to login. (You may have to scroll all the way UP to see it.)

    Print your own “Certificate of Achievement” at the conclusion of the course if you earn 80% or better on the quiz and present your certificate to your Hands-On Training instructor to get credit for your work.

  • Hands-On Training

    Register and pay for books and training as either an EDUcation or MANufacturing member.  Contact the WCA if you believe you qualify for a discount code.

    When you have been notified that your application has been accepted and you’ve completed the online training course, visit the training events page to find a training class that fits your schedule and contact us to sign up.
