Green Credential– 30 Points, 800 hours

  • After passing the BASIC Layout and Measurement assessments, earn a least 30 Points as electives from any section of the current edition of the Skill Standards.
  • The 10 Points for achieving the Sawblade Certificate (when earned) shall be applied, meaning only 20 more Points need be earned for Green.
  • Record at least 800 hours including time used to earn the Basic Credential. They may be any combination of classroom, lab, and shop or plant time such as internships and/or co-op work-study programs. Hours are cumulative lifetime hours, not related to any calendar or school year. Students successfully completing a WCA accredited school program of 2 semesters or more can qualify.
