IWF Accredited Skill Evaluator [ASE] sessions – Weds., Thurs., Fri., Sat., August 20-23, 2014

  • What should I wear?

Wear comfortable shop clothes and shoes (no shorts or open shoes). The event is informal. We will spend the majority of our time in the Booth operating machinery and conducting evaluations.

  • When should I get there?

IWF Booth 7912 @ Georgia World Congress Center – (GWC)
Register for the IWF bi-annual show. Take a hotel shuttle (free from selected hotels), or your own transportation method to the GWC building and show entrance. Your show credentials will include a show map. Make your way to Booth 7912. Give yourself at least 45 minutes before your session time to get to the booth.

The training runs from 8:30-11:30 or 1:30-4:30 each Weds., Thurs, and Fri. The last session is 8:30-11:30 Sat. Arrive early to register, to present your “Certificate” from eLearning, and to network.

  • Where should I park?

Map and Parking
If you drive you will likely park in the Garage near the GWC if there is space. The garage is a separate concession and there will be a charge. We don’t know what it is at this writing.

  • Where should I stay locally?

You may stay anywhere you like. We have no special arrangement or relationship to any properties, and have no personal knowledge of their quality or service.

  • Will there be LUNCH?

Not for this special program. Enjoy lunch on your own before or after your scheduled session.

  • Do I need my own Personal Protective devices?

You should bring your own safety glasses and hearing protection. You may be able to borrow a pair of ours, limited supply.

You may find it useful to bring a laptop with internet accessibility. Exploration of the website and Registry will be part of the program. Your own hands-on from your computer is valuable.
